Job Title: Controller
Salary Range: $70,000 – $140,000
Location: Greater Fort Wayne

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. The Controller will be responsible for leading the financial management of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with our business goals. This is a pivotal role within a growing construction/manufacturing environment, offering a wide compensation range based on experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Oversee all accounting operations including General Ledger, A/R, A/P, Payroll, and Job Costing.

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements and analysis to senior leadership.

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements.

• Implement internal controls and drive process improvements across financial functions.

• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

• Collaborate with project managers and operations to support financial planning for construction/manufacturing projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Controller in a construction or manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, WIP schedules, and job costing.

• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
